The second invasion of the peach blossom spring

Part of the composition in this work draws inspiration from Salvador Dalí’s The Dream of Columbus.
In Western Europe, the Age of Exploration is often celebrated as a great leap for human civilization, leading to the so-called “Columbian Exchange”—a massive transfer of diseases, species, and cultures.
But for the Indigenous peoples of the “New World,” this exchange brought not prosperity, but oppression and death.

Dalí’s painting may not have been a celebration of Columbus, but rather a satire—where one person’s dream becomes another’s nightmare.
Imperial colonization, under the banners of technology and religion, has never truly ceased.
In the 21st century, the religious flag no longer bears the image of Mary, but that of an AI goddess.
